Question #1:
I have a Canon 50D 15.1 mp camera and a 16 gb card. How many photos will it hold?
So I'm new to the Canon cameras. I've always had only Nikon and said I'd never switch, but alas I did after comparing the 50D to the Nikon D90. Now the Nikon I was using was a D70 which was 10 mega pixels. And on that camera I could take 286 photos on a 512 MB compact flash card. Now the new camera can only take like 73 on the same card.So I'm looking at getting a 16GB 133x compact flash card. Can some one tell me how many photos that will hold? I need to make sure I get enough memory since I shoot allot of weddings etc.

My laptop has a ati radeon 5470 hd 1 gb dedicated graphics memory my question is could I get a new card and have it put in at a computer shop? Or is it integrated?I have a dell inspiron 15R

Intel e4500 2.2Ghz processor Overclocked to 3.30Ghz,
Asus Striker Extreme Motherboard,
Jeantec 500w 80+ Power Supply,

Logitech X530 5.1 Sorround Sound
5.1 Asus Sound Card,
All in a Jeantech Phantom Case.
Thinking of putting it on as a 'buy it now' on ebay as I desperatly need the cash.
Question #17:
What model of motherboard should I buy?
I am looking to upgrade my computer to a better video card, but all the newer ones fit an x16 video card slot, while my computer's motherboard (a cheap dell type) only has an x8 slot. So, I need to buy a new motherboard. I already understand about switching the processor over and using thermal compound to install the heat sink and all that.My spec goal is for it to be able to play Starcraft 2. It plays it now but it's awfully slow to load, so I'm upgrading my video card and memory. Please let me know what model/brand I should buy. Thanks!
Also, if just upgrading the memory will do enough to speed up the load time, let me know, I can put off the motherboard for a while if that's all I need, I'm fine with lower video quality for now.
My video card is an ATI HD 3600 series. I have 1023 MB ram with two RAM cards. Processor is Intel Pentium 4 running at 3 GHz
Question #18:
Help me find a good laptop?
I'm moving to college and am getting a laptop.I want to be able to play reasonably demanding games (i.e. starcraft 2 , etc.), watch movies, use applications, do my school work, etc. I want this laptop to last me at least 6 years when im through med school - so it needs to be pretty good to handle the future as well.
So basically i need a laptop that has what i need with the extra stuff cut out (come on, i dont need 500 gb of memory to store a few 1mb college papers).
I would hope for a screen size of 15.6'' or smaller, because it needs to be portable to take to class.
Also i would like decent battery life, but thats really not a big deal, and not a priority.
So far, I am leaning towards the HP dv6t which comes with a printer for about $1200.
It has an i5-540m processor (boost up to 3.02 ghz), a 1g 5650 ATI graphics card, 6gb ram, 500gb (7200 rpm) hard-drive, bluetooth / wireless, 6 cell (high cap battery), 15.6'' screen.
This is all well and good, but are there any other laptops out there for a cheaper price (around 1,000$?) with a little better graphics card, less ram (maybe 4gb?) and less harddrive memory?
I just want a meaty machine with the fluff cut out and good quality.
Mac is out of the question
Any suggestions are so greatly appreciated!!!
Question #19:
How well will these computer specs work?
I am planning on buying a Dell desktop that will be focused on gaming, and with high-end graphics for things such as World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Battlefield Bad Company, etc. Here is my current setup:Studio XPS 9100
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Processors Intel® Core™i7-930 processor(8MB L2 Cache, 2.80GHz)
Memory 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz - 4 DIMMs
Monitor 21.5" Dell ST2210 Full HD Monitor with VGA cable
Video Card ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5
Hard Drive 1TB - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache
Optical Drives Single Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability
Sound THX® TruStudio PC™
Speakers AY410 2.1 Stereo Speakers with Subwoofer
Wireless Dell 1525 Wireless-N PCIe Card
I've been thinking if this isn't enough, I would upgrade to a 9GB Ram, but otherwise I thought this would work well; if any of you know how well I could run these games, and at what settings (Medium, High, Max, etc.) or what you would recommend I upgrade, I would appreciate it!
