Question #1:

How do I make my amp work with Kenwood ?

Basically I have 2 wires for the remote terminal, an antenna control and an external control for my Kenwood KVT-627 DVD unit. I can't get it to work with either, however it does switch on with the 12v source. But that just drains the battery.
The unit has its own brain box and there is a earthing cable that isn't attached anywhere but the the unit still works.
How else can I fix it?

Does ATSC tuner=free tv?

Hi I am looking at an LCD HDTV that says it has a built in ATSC tuner. Will I have to pay for cable or direct tv, or is this like analog tv? I have no tv right now and am very out of date... When I last had a tv i just used an antenna and picked up like 13 channels... so if I buy this tv will that be all I have to pay or is there going to be a monthly fee... thank you.

Best way to preserve bugs?

I have a biology project that requires me to catch bugs but i'ts not due till the end of October and i have a lot of my bugs but how do i keep them in good shape untill it's time to pin them up and turn them in. I did an experiment with a fly and froze it in water for 3 days, then i thawed it out, and he was in perfect condition. Could i do that? Right now they're all in plastic bags with no water in the freezer. is that okay?

I don't want thier antennas and legs falling off thier bodies.

This is a metal antenna that might stand about 15 feet high and looks like the outline of a football or a simple leaf standing on its end. I see them in some rural areas of Washington state and I've seen them in other rural hilly areas. They are always white and all have that bird-cage look to them.

I found tiny black bugs in my bathroom what are they?

I live in finland it has been raining a lot recently and i live in a 10th floor.
They are very little i think they have antennas and they also fly or jump i ran when it did that so i don't really know i have only seen 2 but there might be more please help.

The corona ball or static ball broke off of my antenna. Should I have this repaired?

It's a roof antenna on my taxi, for our 2 way radio. It's just the tiny little ball on the tip end of the antenna. It's hard to tell if it has affected performance. Should I have this replaced or repaired?
No, PhilinNWfla. The corona ball or static ball is not to keep you from poking your eye out. It is to dissipate static, but I get the impression that it's benefits are controversial.

I just got my hands on a Broksonic television from back in time. The TV is so old that it only has antenna inputs in the back. One for (two screws)and another for VHF(two screws). I want to use it to playback my AV stuff. Is there a converter box that will do that?

Hello, i have a laptop, would it be possible to obtain wifi signal from a mile away?
Obviously my laptop cant pick up the wifi signal at the moment, with its built in wifi, but would it be possible with an indoor directional antenna?
Could someone please direct me to a usb or laptop pci adapter card that supports a SMA connection (or a suitable external connection for a antenna)
And could someone please direct me to a suitable antenna that should be able to pick the signal up? Im thinking directional would be the best, i know the rough approximate area that the hotspot is in.
I think the hotspot is 2.4ghz, and im not sure what dbi would be needed to get the hotspot from this distance!
